William Donald "Bill" Calame, 69, passed away Wednesday evening, August 20, 2025, at his home in Crowell. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Bill was born April 18, 1956, in Greenville, Mississippi, to Donald and Joycelyn (Heiman) Calame. He worked for many years as a truck driver with Sherwin-Williams and took great pride in his work. A man of faith, Bill was a member of Western Trail Cowboy Church.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Dewitt of Crowell; son, Billy Connell of China Springs, Texas; daughter, Amber Dewitt of Crowell; brothers, John Calame of Wortham, Texas, and Doug Calame of Mason, Texas; sister, Cheryl Calame of College Station, Texas; and grandchildren, Taylor Connell and Jessica Connell.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
