Wanda Lou Bowerman passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in Houston, Texas. A graveside service is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30th, at Crowell Cemetery.

Wanda was born October 7, 1941, in Thalia, Texas, to Claude and Velma (Sitton) Carr. She married James "Jim" Bowerman on March 11, 1961, in Vernon, Texas. Wanda devoted many years to a career in banking, working first at Herring Bank and later at First National Bank in Dallas.

She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Bowerman of Livingston, Texas; her son, Eric Jason Bowerman and wife Ann of Rockwall, Texas; her brother, Jimmy Ray Carr and wife Sue of Wichita Falls, Texas; and her brother-in-law, Gary Bowerman and wife Anita of Breckenridge, Texas.
