Tommy Eugene Lingar passed away on the morning of July 15, 2026, at his home in Crowell. A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Crowell Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Crowell.

Born on July 16, 1954, in Salem, Oregon, Tommy was the son of Bill and Mary Frances (Gore) Lingar. In 1974, he married Linda Lou Dyer in Lefore, Oklahoma.

Tommy worked in custom harvesting and at McLain Farm Equipment. He was a heavy equipment operator for Skip Shephard and retired in 2020 from Foard County as a road grader operator. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Linda Lingar of Crowell; daughters, Denise Gillispie of Wichita Falls and Donna Emory of Crowell; sons, Mickey Lingar of Post Falls, Idaho, and Johney Lingar of Gould, Oklahoma; three brothers; one sister; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
