Sharon Westmoreland passed away Wednesday morning, July 23, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26th, at First Baptist Church in Crowell, with burial to follow at Truscott Cemetery. Visitation will take place Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Crowell.

Sharon was born June 18, 1947, in Crowell, Texas, to William Warren Everson and May Bell Haskew Everson. A lifelong resident of Crowell, she was a devoted member of First Methodist Church, where she played the piano for many years.

Sharon worked at the local grocery store and served the community in several important roles. She was Foard County Justice of the Peace for 13 years, served as Crowell City Judge, and worked at the Foard County Sheriff's Office.

She is survived by her husband, Felix Westmoreland of Crowell; two sons, James Dean Borchardt and wife Stevi of Crowell, and Ricky Borchardt and wife Susan of Crowell; stepson, Daniel Westmoreland and wife Casey of Abilene; daughter, Amanda DeLosSantos and husband Ruben of Crowell; stepdaughter, Kelly Lynn Westmoreland of Dallas; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Riley Borchardt, and two brothers, Jimmy and Billy Everson.
