Sandra Glover passed away Wednesday night, June 28, 2023, in Crowell. A funeral service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 1st at First Methodist Church with Rev. Terry Tamplen officiating. Interment will follow at Crowell Cemetery.

Sandra Lee Thompson was born December 20, 1938 in Foard County to Bill Thompson and Isla Mae Zeibig Thompson. She married Joe Madison Glover December 28, 1956 in Crowell, where they made their home, and raised two children.

Sandra was a member of the First Methodist Church and taught Sunday School. She served on the Crowell Cemetery Board, Cancer Society, and Women's Services League. She worked as an insurance clerk at the Foard County Hospital; bookkeeper at the Crowell Cap Company; the Foard County Appraisal District; and in recent years for Rolling Plains Management Corp.

Survivors include her daughters, Jana Brandon, and husband Andy of Goodlett, Rita Tamplen, and husband Tommy of Crowell; brother, Johnny Thompson of Justin, Texas; grandchildren, Lee Brandon and wife Karlon, Matt Tamplen and wife Lacy, Rex Brandon and wife Tosha, Mindy Mathis and husband Jonathan, Jay Brandon and wife Carley; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, July 1, 2012; and a brother, Jerry Thompson, October 11, 1964.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Crowell Cemetery or First Methodist Church of Crowell.
