Ruth Posey passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 in Wichita Falls, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 28, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Crowell. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Crowell Cemetery.

Florence Ruth Ribble was born March 22, 1928 to the late Curtis Ribble and Lela Womack Ribble. She married "Bill" William Lee in 1976. She loved being a nurse and worked at the Foard County Hospital as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She also worked with her husband in their farming operation, and loved taking care of her cows. She was member of the First Christian Church of Crowell.

Ruth is survived by her sons Dan Gobin of Lubbock, Texas and Jim Gobin of Crowell; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, November 19, 1998; and her son, Bobby Gobin, February 16, 2006.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or the Salvation Army.
