Rosemary Ellis, 90, of Crowell, died Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2018, at Womack Manard Funeral Home Chapel, in Crowell. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the funeral home.

Rosemary was born November 18, 1927, in Panhandle, Texas, to Howard and Lottie (Griffith) Robards. She married Thomas O. Ellis in Brooklyn, New York, on September 5, 1945.

Rosemary enjoyed sewing for her family, gardening, cooking, and traveling. Her legacy was teaching her family and friends.  She had lived in Crowell since 1952, and was a member of the Crowell Church of Christ.

She is survived by two children: daughter, Sandra Davis, and husband Jim, of Blanchard, Oklahoma; son, Larry Ellis, and wife Roseanne, of Crowell; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Her husband, Thomas O. Ellis, preceded her in death on May 3, 2015.
