Mary "Frances" Lingar passed away Sunday morning, April 16, 2023 in Crowell. A graveside service is planned for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 20 ^th at Crowell Cemetery with Larry Wright officiating.

Mary Frances Gore was born September 23, 1930 in Tennessee. She married Billy Joe Lingar and they raised 7 children. She loved to garden, crochet and knit. She was a seamstress at the cap factory and was interviewed by "Texas Country Reporter" while employed there.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Meeks, Ronnie Lingar, Tommy Lingar, Jimmy Lingar, Debbie Weaver, Randall Lingar, and Deanna Collins; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996.

The family suggests that memorials in her name be made to the ASPCA.
