Mary Louise Lanotte Fish, of Crowell, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020, in Lubbock, Texas. She was 88. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21 ^st at the First Christian Church.  Mr. Larry Ellis will officiate. Interment will follow at Crowell Cemetery under direction of Smith Funeral Home, formerly Womack Manard Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m., Monday, January 20 ^th at Smith Funeral Home in Crowell.

Mary Louis Lanotte was born December 15, 1931, to Clarence John and Lois E. (Bickle) Lanotte, in Post, Texas. She married William Bryan Fish on July 19, 1957 in Anson, Texas.

Mary was a graduate of Abilene Christian University. She taught 5 ^th grade for many years, and then taught math at Blackwell, Paducah, and Crowell schools.  She also taught Sunday School at Crowell Church of Christ. She was a member of Retired Teachers Association and Friends of the Library, where she served as Treasurer.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Nancy Fish of Lubbock; 1 sister, Linda Oden of Abilene; 6 grandchildren, Jeff, Brandon, Amy, Scott, Jared, and Kyle; and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Fish on January 28, 2003; a daughter, Sarah Eileen Cook on October 3, 2012; and a son Randall "Randy" Ray Fish on August 25, 2017; and 2 sisters, Anna Castleberry and Juanita Baker.

The family suggests that memorials in her memory be made to Friends of the Library or Crowell Church of Christ.
