Maria Consuelo “Connie” Pineda, of Crowell, Texas, passed away on August 27, 2026, in Hale Center, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5th at the First Assembly of God in Crowell.

Born on August 28, 1962, in Karnes City, Texas, Connie was the daughter of Theodor Ramon and Louisa Leal Ramon. She married Ruben Pineda on March 11, 1979, and together they built a life rooted in family.

Connie dedicated her career to caring for others as a Certified Nurse Assistant at the Crowell Nursing Home. She was also a devoted member of the Assembly of God, where her kindness and steady presence were deeply felt.

She is survived by her children: Richard Pineda of Plainview, Christopher Pineda and wife Amber of Hale Center, and Michael Pineda of Crowell.

She leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, who brought her immense joy, as well as her siblings: Augustine Ramon, Joe Ramon, Alfredo Ramon, and Martha Ramon.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Pineda; her parents; and her brother, Ted Ramon.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Crowell Nursing Center or First Assembly of God in Crowell, honoring Connie’s lifelong faith and dedication to caring for others.
