Larry Joe Kirk, age 69, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away March 21, 2019 in Fort Worth.  He was born December 1, 1949 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Fort Worth.

From the time he was a little boy until the present, he loved baseball and was a devoted New York Yankees fan.  He umpired many Little League Baseball games in his spare time.  He also loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Jackson Kirk, of Virginia; his mother, Lola Kirk Dillard, and his step-father, Tom C. Dillard of Arlington, Texas; half-brothers Steven Kirk and Jay Kirk of Virginia.

Surviving family members include his son Larry Christopher Kirk of Vernon, Texas; his half-brother Thomas Dillard, Jr., Grand Prairie, Texas; niece Ashley Cusack and husband, Patrick, of Arlington, Texas, half-brother Randal J. Kirk, of Virginia; his son's mother, Christy Long Kirk, of Vernon, Texas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Burial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019, in the Crowell Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Crowell Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 425, Crowell, Texas 79227
