Jeannette Lucreta Bond passed away Thursday evening, May 25, 2023, in Crowell. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Margaret Methodist Church. Visitation will be held Monday, May 29th, 6-7 p.m., at Smith Funeral Home.

Jeannette Lucreta Woodard was born November 19, 1938 in Midland, Texas to the late Elmer Woodard and Lovebelle Jane Avery Woodard. She married Bill Bond, Sr. in Levelland, Texas on March 10, 1956. She worked as a beautician, Administrator at Hillcrest Clinic, and Foard County Treasurer. She was also a member of the Library Board. She loved to play piano at church and the nursing home; was a great cook; and enjoyed dancing and singing. Jeannette was a member of Margaret Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Bond, Sr. of Crowell; children, Debra Hopkins of Margaret, and Billy Bond, Jr., and wife Jodi, of Crowell; grandchildren, Kristen Edwards and Jay of Margaret, Chelsea Hinsley and Anthony of Crowell, Levi Bond of Lubbock, Jimmy Bond and Annie of Comfort, Lex Bond and Hannah of Lubbock; great grandchildren, Trent Baize, Kaylee Edwards, Jase Edwards, Emma Hinsley, and Karson Hinsley; siblings, Elmer and Heidi Woodard of Rainier, Washington, Matthew Woodard of Veronia, Oregon, Cindy Woodard of Camas, Washington, Betty Dirks of Scappoose, Oregon, and Dolores Serna of San Antonio, Texas  She was preceded in death by a brother, John Woodard.
