Jackie Shultz made her final journey on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Graveside services will be held at the Old Margaret Cemetery Tuesday, January 25th at 2pm. Those attending are requested to gather at Smith Funeral Home in Crowell at 1pm.
Born Mary Jaquelyn Wesley to Gertrude and George Wesley on April 14, 1931, Jackie was the granddaughter of John Wesley, who, along with one other man, was the first to settle this area. Margaret was named after Jackie's Aunt Margaret.
Jackie worked as a traveling cotton classer for the USDA for over 30 years. In addition, she worked as mower, supervisor and accountant of the Margaret cemetery. In her off time, Jackie was a consummate gardener of edible produce and beautiful flowers and trees.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother John Wesley, sisters Alma Wesley Moore and Anita Wesley Tucker, her youngest son Charles Shultz and granddaughter Sarah Shultz Maley. She is survived by her husband Loyd Shultz, her sons, James and Keith Shultz, her daughter Trudy Shultz Robinson, son-in-law Jim Robinson, daughter-in-law Valerie Shultz, ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family has requested memorial donations be made to the Old Margaret Cemetery to honor her passing.
