Hortensia Hall passed away Tuesday morning, August 16, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas.  A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 19 ^th at First Baptist Church in Crowell. Interment will follow at Crowell Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Smith Funeral Home.

Hortensia Lozano was born in Gonzales, Texas on August 18, 1940, to the late Augustine Lozano and Anita Perez Lozano. She married Clarence Hall on August 16, 1967 in Vernon, Texas and together they raised 5 children. She was a homemaker and worked for many years at Woods Nursing Home and Vernon Care Center as a nursing aide. She was also a member of the Margaret United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Hall of Wichita Falls; 2 sons, David Hall of Wichita Falls, and Christopher Hall of Chester, Virginia; 3 daughters, Sandra Creech of Wichita Falls, Mary Mechell of Crowell, Teresa Wilkinson of Vernon; 2 brothers, Kenneth Lozano of San Antonio and Richard Lozano of Vernon; 6 sisters, Eva Urquizo of Crowell, Julia Torres of Crowell, Anita Hinkle of Crowell, Alicia Alvardo of San Antonio, Olga Herrera of Abilene, and Rachel Ramos of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
