Granville Wyatt "Rusty" Moore passed away Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 in Knox County, Texas. He was 70.

A funeral service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2019 at Western Trail Cowboy Church. Ty Moore will officiate with Rev. Ron Fox assisting. Interment will follow at Crowell Cemetery.

Rusty was born April 30, 1949 in Austin, Texas to Due Rander Moore and Bertha Juanita Smith Moore. He was a graduate of Lanier High School and attended Central Texas College and Texas A&M University. On August 22, 1970 he married Malinda Nell McBeath in Travis County, Texas. Together, they raised two beautiful children.

At the time of his death, Rusty was the Chief of Police in Crowell, as well as a farmer and rancher. He was a former Game Warden and enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, he enjoyed his family. He was a member of Western Trail Cowboy Church.

Survivors include his wife, Malinda McBeath Moore of Crowell; a son, Ty and wife Jayna Moore of Ada, Oklahoma; a daughter, Randi and husband Chris Myers of Krum, Texas; 3 brothers, Larry Moore of Aurora, Colorado, Obie Moore of Washington D.C., Jay Moore of Jackson, Minnesota; 2 sisters, Bonnie Moore of Dallas, Texas, Patty Locke of Oak Point, Texas; a brother in law, Clyde "Lefty" Morrow of Hawley, Texas, and one half brother, Due Rander "Sonny" Moore III of Bosque Farms, New Mexico; 4 grandchildren, Kane Wyatt Moore, Kylee Nichole Myers, Trel Lamar Moore, Cole Christopher Myers; and many nieces and nephews.

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Due Rander and Bertha Moore; one brother, Lon Scott Moore; a half-brother, George Earl Moore; and a half-sister, Betty Morrow.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Western Trail Cowboy Church in his memory.
