Diane Everson, 70, of Crowell, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas.  A graveside service is planned for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Crowell Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home of Crowell. Rev. Ron Fox will officiate with Mr. Jerry Bob Daniels.

Glenna Diane Herschman was born October 12, 1950 in Vernon, Texas to Edmond and Lynes (Jones) Herschman. She married Larry Everson, in Vernon, on September 20, 1969.Together, they raised two children. Diane and Larry moved their family to Crowell in 1981. Diane was the Director of Foard County Senior Citizen's Center; and a member of the Western Trails Cowboy Church. Diane had a beautiful smile, and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who never missed a grandchild's event. She was also well known as a great cook.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Everson, of Crowell; 1 son Kyle, and wife, Melissa Everson of Benjamin; 4 grandchildren, Tori, Dal, Hallie, and Jolie; 3 sisters, Ruth Jackson of Vernon, Lavon Sneed, and Sherry Wright of Crowell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by son, Ryan Edmond Everson, on July 11, 2005.

Memorials may be made to Foard County Senior Citizens Center.
