Clarence Earl Orr went to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, November 25 ^th at the age of 94 in Crowell, Texas.  He was born November 8, 1926 to Claud and Ada Orr in Margaret, Texas.

He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 73 years, Marlene Mason Orr; daughter, Debbie Shaw and husband Mike, of Crowell; daughter Marla Cox of The Colony, Texas; four grandchildren, Scott Bearden and wife Stephanie, their children Seth and Sage; Kera Bearden and children Jacob and Justin of Maurice, Louisiana; Katy Nichols and husband Travis, of Boerne, Teas and children, Tyler, Mason and Abby Kay; Colby Cox and wife Emily, of Flower Mound, and children, Cade, Tatum, Sadie and Hattie; one sister in law, LaRue Bledsoe of Seminole, Texas and several great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a loving son of the heart, Larry Bassel and wife Joann, and family, of Altus, Oklahoma. Bonus family includes grandson, Perry Shaw, and wife Kandi, and their daughter Liv. Also, granddaughter, Jennifer Brownlee and husband Vance, and their daughter Reata of Springer, New Mexico; Flint Brownlee of Seymour; and Ransom and wife Robyn Brownlee, of Seymour; and great-great-granddaughter Claire Brownlee.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Ada Orr; son-in-law, Gary Cox; and grandchild, Tobin Bassel.

Clarence was a life long farmer in Duke, Oklahoma and Crowell, Texas. In his retirement he enjoyed his family and checking on the farms.

He served our country in World War II in the United States Navy, Pacific Theater.  He was a member of the Church of Christ.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Crowell Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Foard County Museum.
